Day 11 - January 30, 2008 - Psalms 3-5

I like the fourth Psalm. Before it in small print it says,"For the director of music. With stringed instruments." I like it because I play the viola!!

my favorite verse:
"let the light of your face shine upon us O Lord." 4:6

My favorite verse is:
"To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill."
Psalm 3:4
I like the small print before the fourth Psalm.

3:3 is very encouraging/soothing to me "But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head"

On Wednesday night fir middle school bible study we talked about what a verse was that could cheer you up, and lucy picked psalms 3:4! This is an amazing verse and i lovve it!!!! Like we talked about whenever you go outside and you can feel the warmth of God on your face from the sunshine, and yeahh! It's pretty much an amazing verse!!!!!!!

I hate to say it but its hard for me to imagine singing these verses.
But rapping.
now thats a diffent story

Pretty cool set of passages. Also like the verse Psalm 3:7 "Arise, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked." It's kinda strange in a way, but it gives a sense of protection and that God doesn't play around with those who are wicked!
